Meet Amanda Billue

I was born in Kentucky, raised in a small town in Indiana, and moved to Texas in 2015. I’m a proud Purdue graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and my entire career has been shaped by a deep commitment to helping people through some of their hardest seasons.

My professional journey began in behavioral health, working directly with children in crisis. I later partnered with Child Protective Services, supervising visits and testifying in court to help families reunify. It was painful to witness how addiction could overpower even the strongest love a parent had for their child. That experience cemented my commitment to working in addiction recovery.

My passion for this work runs deep. I’ve lost several friends and family members to either suicide or addiction my brother included, who passed in 2017. That loss sharpened my focus and gave me my “why.” Since then, I’ve managed medical detox services, led admissions, business development, and discharge teams, and even built entire programs from the ground up inside hospitals.

Today, I run my own company and service line—ClearPath, designed to bring compassionate, clinically sound withdrawal management into hospitals that need it most. I’ve seen firsthand how often this population is misunderstood and underserved in medical settings, and I’m determined to change that I’ve also launched two other service lines: one focused on admissions and business development training, and another completely free resource service to help discharge planners, treatment professionals, and families connect with the right level of care.

These were born out of the gaps I kept seeing lack of training, poor leadership support, and most of all, no roadmap for those trying to help others in crisis.

I do this work to bridge those gaps. Because people deserve better. And so do the professionals trying to help them
